Badisa Tygerberg is a service of Badisa, a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 011-891). We have a mandate to act according to the Children’s Act, Act 38 of 2005 to protect vulnerable children. We render child protection services to children and their families, irrespective of race, religion, or language in the following areas: Parow, Parow Valley, Uitsig, Ravensmead, Eureka, Connaught and Cravenby.

Strive through comprehensive community base programs, in conjunction with partners, to empower families with social needs in such a way that they can function optimal and are able to create and ensure an environment where children can develop into responsible adults.

Our goals are:

To deliver social services in a transparent manner through the appointment of social service professionals and knowledgeable management.

To pursue mutually beneficial partnerships with role players in our communities in order to deliver on our vision.

To enable people with social services’ needs to function independently through holistic community-based programmes and by cooperating with partners.

To deliver social services to communities which ensure the safety and development of children so that they are able to develop in responsible adults who will be able to make a positive contribution to their communities in future.
